Briell recounts her time being imprisoned in a "House of Hiding," an FLDS compound in South Dakota where she was isolated, drugged and threatened by prophet Warren Jeffs, who was on the run from the FBI for being involved with his underage brides.

Warren sends Briell back to Short Creek and orders her own family to keep her as a prisoner. Briell realises this may be her last chance to escape.
