Screenwriter Isabel has the chance to fulfil her dream of writing a soap opera, but is betrayed by her mentor, Lauro. When she confronts him on the day of the premiere, she is magically transported into his story, in the role of the protagonist.

Having lost her job, Isabel goes to the premiere party to reveal to the world that Lauro Diniz has stolen her soap opera. During the evening, Isabel runs into Felipe, with whom she has been having an affair.

Layer on Layer
Backstage, Lauro and producer Marta put pressure on the technical team to find out how another version of the episode could have been broadcast, while Igor sends the guards to search the studio for Isabel.
EPISODE 3
The Impossible Cannot be Possible
The day after the premiere, Lauro wakes up in his office and is warned by Marta that Walter, the owner of the station, wants to talk. Lauro also has to deal with Grazi, who has been replaced by Isabel and feels betrayed.

The Return of Those who Never Left
Isabel meets the extra, a person who is as real as she is, but who has been living in limbo all her life. Finding João Marcelo very handsome, she decides that she will have to marry him to put an end to this telenovela.

You Buy What You Sow
Lauro sends João Marcelo on a business trip to Europe. While waiting for him to return, Isabel immerses herself in the intrigues of the soap opera: she becomes a shrewd businesswoman, gets closer to Tobias and clashes with Chiara.
EPISODE 6
My Love, My Nemesis
To circumvent Isabel's suicidal plan and regain credit with advertisers, Lauro finds the solution in the return of Joao Marcelo. He saves Isabel and gives her hope of a happy ending.
