We Rent Tsukumogami

A well-known antique art dealer stops by the shop seeking their assistance; the old man claims that the paintings on his hanging scrolls change every night, and he asks Oko and Seiji for help figuring out why.

Seiji is concerned about Oko falling for Kounosuke, a man rumoured to be a womanising playboy; to uncover the truth expose Kounosuke, Seiji asks a friend to bring a tsukumogami to a party with the young playboy.

According to rumours, a chivalrous bandit called Itachi Kozo has been listening to the wishes of those at a particular shrine then granting them.

Kounosuke falls into a river and accidentally pulls Seiji in, causing a precious seal box that has been in the family for generations to be lost; they look for it for a while with no luck; then a man shows up with it and demands a hefty reward.
