A part wolf, part dog named White Fang is orphaned as a pup, and has had several human masters - all cruel - until he met Jack. It's the time of the great Gold Rush, and Jack is a boy who has come to the Yukon prospect his father's claim. Journeying into the wilderness together, the boy and his new friend have many adventures, and White Fang saves Jack's life twice.
