Thriller about the complicated life of a confidence trickster who becomes the victim of a variety of other criminals' scams. Reluctant to work for the sadistic, unstable local Mob boss, he agrees to murder another mobster's wife to raise enough cash to escape to Cuba, but the hit is videotaped in order to blackmail him.
