A woman is so firmly committed to her marriage that she leaves New York to track down her deadbeat husband, only to find him living with a Hispanic waitress in Texas. Instead of confronting him, she decides to stay and keep an eye on him, at the same time embarking on a journey of personal growth and attracting an admirer of her own.
