Levi Rockwell, poet, professor, comic, and lover of the sea, is turning 77. His four children, their spouses and eight grandchildren decide to celebrate the occasion with a party, converging upon Levi's peaceful existence in their childhood house in idyllic Sagaponack, New York, on Long Island.
