Al Harrington

In addition to a professional career in football, Al Harrington also made a presence in the entertainment business. Harrington's early roles were in comedies like the Tom Hanks blockbuster "Forrest Gump" (1994). He had a part on the television special "CBS All-American Thanksgiving Day Parade" (CBS, 1989-1990). Harrington worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "The Byrds of Paradise" (ABC, 1993-94). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Escape From Atlantis" (Starz, 1996-1997). He also appeared in the TV special "Teens: What Makes Them Tick?" (ABC, 1998-99). Harrington focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Promised Land" (CBS, 1996-99) and "Family Law" (CBS, 1999-2002). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Tucker" (NBC, 2000-01) and "Scrubs" (2001-2010). He also appeared in the thriller "The Fall of Night" (2008) with Bruce Michael Hall. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "DreamKeeper" (2003-04). Harrington most recently acted on "Hawaii Five-O" (CBS, 2010). Al Harrington died on September 21, 2021 in Honolulu, HI at the age of 85.
