S1, E4: Leonardo da Vinci is the most famous Italian Renaissance painter. A prolifically talented genius, (painter, sculptor, architect, engineer, town planner, mathematician, botanist, philosopher, inventor...), he considerably influenced history of art. His sfumato technique and use of chiaroscuro are still studied today.
