A small village has finally received electricity, and one of its previous inhabitants, Kanji, decides to bring a great gift - a television. The villagers are immediately enchanted by this magical box and can't stop watching, leaving their normal activities behind. This includes visiting the temple, making the village priest furious. The priest inflames the Thakur to react against the source of the woe - Kanji.
