'Christy' is inspired by a true story that took place in the picturesque beachside village of Poovar, Tamil Nadu. Swayed by his family's pressure, a young village boy joins a woman's tutoring classes to improve his academic performance. The two hit it off and become good friends. However, things take a turn for the boy when she bags a job abroad.
