Featuring virtuoso performances from Tony Leung (In the Mood for Love, Lust, Caution), Ziyi Zhang (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, House of Flying Daggers, Hero) and Chang Chen (Happy Together, 2046) The Grandmaster is an epic action feature inspired by the life and times of legendary kung fu master, Ip Man. Spanning the fall of China’s final dynasty, this tumultuous period of chaos and war provides the stunning backdrop to the doomed romance of Ip Man (Leung) and his life-long rival, Gong Er (Zhang) as they lead the golden age of Chinese martial arts.
