Barrett Doss

Actress Barrett Doss made guest appearances in "30 Rock" (NBC, 2006-2013), "Bull" (CBS, 2016-) and "Girls" (HBO, 2012-17) before landing the recurring role of Danny Rand's personal assistant Megan in superhero drama "Iron Fist" (Netflix, 2017-). Born in Minneapolis but raised in Albuquerque and Chicago, Doss grew up obsessively listening to the "Rent" and "Ragtime" cast recordings, and eventually moved to New York to attend the Professional Children's School. She also later studied Musical Theater at NYU. Doss made her screen debut playing Liz Lemon's great-granddaughter Eliza in the final episode of award-winning sitcom "30 Rock" (NBC, 2006-2013) and went on to make one-off appearances as a trainee in crime drama "Person of Interest" (CBS, 2011-16), a love interest in web series "The Pioneers" (2015) and a life-saving medical genius in legal drama "Bull" (CBS, 2016-). After guesting on political thriller "The Family" (ABC, 2016) and Jack the Ripper time traveler "Time After Time" (ABC, 2017), Doss showed up as Shoshanna's entrepreneurial old college friend Zeva in the final season of "Girls" (HBO, 2012-17) and ventured onto the big screen for the first time as Bertha Lancaster in "Marshall" (2017), the Thurston Marshall biopic. Doss' big break arrived that same year when she was cast as personal assistant Megan in the Marvel Comics series "Iron Fist" (Netflix, 2017-) and local TV news producer Rita Hanson in the Tony Award-winning musical, "Groundhog Day."
