After escaping from the Phantom Zone, Raya comes to Smallville to visit Clark. Raya and Clark grow close, and Raya reveals how to repair the Fortress of Solitude. Unfortunately, Baern, another escapee seeks out revenge on Clark and Raya for his time spent in the Zone.

Clark reveals his secret to Lana, Jonathan and Lex learn the results of the senatorial election, and after a tragic car accident on the highway takes the life of someone he loves.

The two police officers who witnessed the spaceship landing during the meteor shower take Lex and Lana hostage and threaten to kill them unless Lex reveals where he hid the spaceship.

Clark, Oliver, Lois and Dinah are released by the VRA but each of them has flashbacks of Chloe holding them against their will. When Chloe returns, Dinah warns the others that Chloe may now be a traitor.
