Elena and Damon go to Denver to check on Jeremy and to see if he can help them find the information they need about vampire bloodlines. However, they soon discover that he has fallen in with a bad crowd. Meanwhile, Stefan and Klaus use violent measures as they search for the missing weapon, Tyler returns and begins to wonder whether something happened between Caroline and Klaus, and Matt has to keep Rebekah busy.
