Leonard wants to give it back to its original owner, Koothrappali wants to sell it so that he can buy a jet ski but Sheldon becomes obsessed with the ring and starts to turn into Gollum from The Lord of the Rings. Can the guys reach an agreement and will Sheldon return to normal?

Michael tries to frame Toby after he discovers he's back working in the office. Elsewhere, someone makes a big mess in the microwave at the office and won't clean it up.

While holding a funeral for Alana, Jason is forced to step down as team leader to focus on his children, with fellow SEAL Adam Seaver taking his place. Ray joins the rest of the team at Jason's request and is deployed to Mumbai.
