As Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) investigates the Crowe crime family’s role in the disappearance of a corrupt Florida Coast Guard officer, Boyd (Walton Goggins) revives a failed drug deal to help keep Ava’s (Joelle Carter) murder case from going to trial.

The search for a missing government informant pits Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) against both the Crowder and Crowe clans, while a standoff with Cousin Johnny (David Meunier) reveals a powerful rival to Boyd’s (Walton Goggins) drug business. An investigation into in the death of mob boss Nicky Augustine threatens to implicate Raylan.

While looking to make Boyd (Walton Goggins) an informant in exchange for a clean slate, Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) sows dissent inside the Crowe family in order to turn them against Darryl, Jr. (Michael Rapaport). Ava’s (Joelle Carter) reluctant rise to prison leader makes her the target of rival inmates.

Ava's loyalty is tested by Raylan and Boyd. Meanwhile, Markham's plans go awry.
