Mahadji of Chaskaman gets impressed with the bravery of his friend Balaji Ballal’s son Bajirao. Balaji arrives with his family at Mahadji’s house for the ‘Ashtami Puja’ where Bajirao meets Kashibai.

Kashibai and Bajirao play a game. Some dacoits try to kidnap Kashibai, but Bajirao foils their attempt. Later, Kashibai decides to punish Bajirao for breaking her pot.

Kashibai tells Bajirao to bring a new pot for her. A snake surrounds Kashibai near the lake. Bajirao gives the new pot to Kashibai. Later, Kashibai gets pricked with the thorns on holding the pot.

Radhabai asks Mahadji’s wives for Kashibai's hand in marriage for her son, Bajirao. However, Mahadji’s wives insult Radhabai, who takes a vow while leaving Chaskaman. Later, Kashibai gets attacked.
