Sumi spares her precious time for Nandita. Giri makes compromises on his business trip to attend Navya’s wedding. Their families, however, fail to appreciate their efforts and sideline them.

Giri’s friend Akash advises him, and Sumi’s father advises Sumi about living for oneself. Giri’s stepmother makes her intention clear to her son. Akash fixes a dinner for Giri with a woman.

Sumi dines with Vishal at the restaurant, while Giri dines with Rakhi. Giri ignores Rakhi, who is money-mined and Sumi is displeased with a selfish Vishal. Giri assumes Sumi to be Sneha and talks to her.

Sumi tells Chandran about Giri. Giri reminds his stepmother about his father’s death anniversary rituals. He however fails to reach for the rituals as his and Chandrika’s car meet with an accident.

Following a complaint about a car accident, Sumi arrives at the police station instead of Indira. Enraged that Giri's driver was left off the hook, Sumi goes to see Giri.

Sumi waits for Giri outside his house. Giri seeks Akash’s help to get rid of Anagha, who tries to woo him. Sneha misunderstands Akash as she happens to hear his conversation with Anagha.
