The priest tells a devotee couple about the Annapoorneshwari temple and Vedavathi. Vedavathi praises Srikar in front of the family. Avani’s sister thanks her for taking care of the family’s debt.

Srikar distracts a raging bull heading Vedavathi’s way as she heads to the temple. Vedavathi tells everyone how the traditions came into existence. An astrologer predicts Avani’s future.

Sujatha warns her husband and asks him to stay away from Avani. Srikar is smitten by Avani, whom he meets accidentally. He embraces Kavya thinking it is Avani and apologises to Vedavathi for the same.

Sujatha holds Vedavathi responsible for her plight and curses her when she spots her on the way back home. Avani shares her fears with Sujatha about the latter’s husband taking undue advantage of her.

Surendran letches at Avani all through the trip. At Srikar’s house, his family talk about finding a match for him. Avani shows around the place to Surendran and his friends while Srikar reaches there.

Sujatha threatens Narasimham when he tries to get Avani married to the suitor. At work, Avani is given the responsibility to take a client for outdoor tour. Srikar and Avani think about each other.
