Avani from Kanpur's Trivedi family struggles to balance family responsibilities and her husband Shikhar's aspirations. When his dream of securing a promotion is shattered, Avani faces hardships.

Upset by his boss's insult, Shikhar faces taunts from a cobbler about Avani's actions. He harshly questions her prudence and practicality but explains his frustration and empathises with her later.

Shikhar talks to Avani about his dream home. Avani takes Ritu's advice to start a parlour from home. Shikhar gets upset and tells Avani that she should only focus on running the house.

Shagun complains to Shikhar about her troubled marriage to Avani's brother. Avani decides not to take the job. Anika develops a crush on Rudra and plans a birthday party. Shagun secretly meets a guy.

Shagun mistreats her husband Vidyut as he visits the Trivedi House. Shikhar plans Anika's birthday at a hotel, but she wants a friends' party. Later, he secretly plans to show a property to a client.

At Anika's request, Avani reluctantly lets her host a party with friends at home. Shikhar returns home with his client early, faces embarrassment from Anika's friends, and his deal gets cancelled.
