High school student Yachi Haruaki's archaeologist father sends him a strange blue cube, and that night Haruaki discovers a mysterious being in his kitchen.

After her first day of high school, Fear's true nature comes to light during an encounter with a violent outsider.

Racked with guilt over her actions, Fear runs away and Haruaki must track her down before she does something drastic.

Haruaki and Fear face a life-and-death decision when Mummy Maker, an Auxiliary from The Knight of the Battlefront, pays them a visit.

Yachi and Konoha are sidelined just as the final battle between the maniacal Worse Hunter Peavey Barowoi and Fear begins. To make matters worse, Kirika is a defenceless hostage.

Haruaki, Fear, and Konoha attempt to capture a Worse in their school, one that can control all dolls and feeds off of the students' energy.
