As Harihara Devaraya and Annapurna Devi get burnt to death, Upendra blames Chamanthi’s family and chases them. When Pilot Arun greets the staff, Roja plans to win him over.

When Arun returns home, Ramadevi wards the evil eye off him and hurts Chandrika. Harsha Vardhan surprises Arun with a gift but Ramadevi does not let Arun hug him. Prem wins a competition in a village.

While Prem journeys with Chamanthi and Shyamala and takes them to a restaurant, they feel tense as the police look for them. Prem learns about the royal couple’s murder. Ramadevi insults her friend.

Prem gifts a wildflower plant to Harsha Vardhan, who uses the trophy as a pot. When Chamanthi and Shyamala go to Roja’s hostel, she avoids meeting them. Later, Roja returns Arun’s file at his office.

Chamanthi spots Roja and runs after her cab. Shyamala rushes behind her and faints. Prem loses his appetite as Ramadevi criticises him. Chandrika brings Chamanthi and Shyamala to Ramadevi’s house.

Ramadevi lashes out at Chandrika for hiring Chamanthi and Shyamala as the new maids. When Chamanthi plants a basil plant and prays to it, Harsha Vardhan stops Ramadevi from removing it.
