Chembarathy

After offering the ornaments to the goddess, Kalyani receives a call from her spendthrift sister Aishwarya demanding money. Meanwhile, Ramadevi insults Chandralekha, and later, Arjun enters the house.

Kalyani and Seetha flee on Sivadasan’s advice to escape Narendran’s goons. Recalling the heirloom chain, Kalyani accepts Mahi’s lift to Trivandrum, while Aishwarya slyly keeps her distance.

Lakshmi meets Arjun and returns his missing file. Seetha notices Ramadevi’s saree catching fire and pushes her to safety, but Ramadevi slaps her. Later, Kalyani assumes Mahi is Ramadevi’s driver.

Arjun speaks harshly to Chandralekha. Aishwarya arrives in a flashy car, pretending to be wealthy, and Arjun falls for her lies. Meanwhile, Mahi steals Kalyani’s phone to trouble her.

Ramadevi asks Chandralekha to plan her 30th anniversary. While she misses seeing Kalyani’s heirloom chain, Mahi teases Arjun during his call with Aishwarya. Narendran arrives to meet Ramadevi.

Kalyani and Mahi light the chulha, leaving Ramdevi breathless. Narendran arrives to see Ramdevi, and Kalyani overhears their plan against Shivadasan. She struggles to stay out of Narendran’s sight.
