Aatmaram gets short of breath while playing sambal. His daughter Mukta warns Kanta Sheth, who tries to take away her younger sister Bhakti. Later, Mukta attends the competition of playing sambal.

Everyone strongly opposes Mukta when she plans to play the sambal. Mahant Maharaj states that Mukta cannot win despite being the best sambal player. Kanta's lawyer hands a court notice to Aatmaram.

Sarang, who has just returned from America, is thrilled to tour the village. Atmaram, along with Gajya and Mukta, leaves for Raosaheb's house to celebrate the Navratri festival.

Raosaheb rebukes his mother and reminds her that she is his stepmother. Aatmaram warns Mukta about her stay at the Nagarkars. While Raosaheb's mother prepares to leave the house, Mukta comes there.

Sarang's arrival delights everyone. Mukta convinces Chandrakala, who decides to leave the house. Raosaheb tells Sarang about Prataprao's proposal. Later, Mukta asks Chandrakala about the drum.

Raosaheb stops Sarang from meeting Chandrakala. Later, Chandrakala quizzes Mukta about playing sambal. Sarang expresses his views about homemade food. Aatmaram gets short of breath during the aarti.
