Ahalya’s chance romance with a soldier, Indra, becomes a bittersweet tale of love and loss as he is killed in action. Ahalya must now explore an unforeseen destiny with Indra’s brother, Gowtham.

Gautam lands in trouble as Arjun gets angry with his behaviour. He puts on an act in front of his family but gets exposed. When Indraneel returns home, Gautam swears on his life and makes a promise.

Bullabbai torments Ahalya and makes her pay the rent. Later, the Swamiji suggests Ahalya a way to earn money. Ahalya takes up the task of decorating the temple and making arrangements for the puja.

Ahalya misjudges Indra when he beats up a few men and tries to help a kid. Gowtham gets tense as he fails Aditi’s test to determine whether they can get married. Indra takes a liking towards Ahalya.

After the puja, Arjun’s family wishes to meet Ahalya but she leaves as Thayaru falls ill. Later, Ahalya plans a pilgrim trip for her family. Arjun and Subhadra decide to adopt Indra officially.

Bullabbai follows Ahalya and clashes with Indra and Gautam. Arjun feels happy as Bhanumathi agrees to let him adopt Indra. Yamini condemns Arjun’s decision, while Bhanumathi speaks with Indra.
