Ishq Aaj Kal

Three youngsters, Alia, Faraz, and Munmun, each with a mission of their own take up an internship at Manali’s Grand Mountain resort. While Alia is there to unearth the truth about her mother Heena’s murder, Faraz wants to prove that his father, Wasim, was not having an affair with Heena. Meanwhile, Munmun is at the hotel to leave her past behind and start life afresh.

After the interns are assigned work on the basis of their capabilities, a hotel guest tries to commit suicide. But Alia steps in and handles the situation smartly. In another instance, Faraz exposes a guest who is trying to make false allegations against the resort. Impressed with the interns, Arshad, the hotel's owner, organises a party where Faraz kisses Alia and where she later sees Munmun secretly collect a packet from an unknown person.

Arshad’s mother, Meher, is sent to a rehabilitation centre. When this news breaks out, he tries to find the person who leaked the information. Meanwhile, Amaira tells Alia that her feelings for Faraz cannot create a rift between them. Naaz and Javed meet after a long time. But she mistreats Javed as he owns a small share in the company. Munmun continues to get messages from Barkat and finally reveals her story to Alia.

Arshad briefs the interns about an event that is being hosted at the resort and warns them against making any mistake. One of the award winners ends up getting drunk at the after-party and is escorted to her room by Faraz. However, the woman accuses him of raping her leading to his arrest. Later, after Arshad bails him out, Faraz's true intentions are revealed.

Alia receives a letter from her father and tries to solve the mystery behind it. Barkat asks Munmun to send a consignment and Amaira tries to give her best but is overshadowed by Alia. Naaz get to know Alia’s truth and is desperate to make her pay the price for her family's actions.

Arshad struggles with his mother’s deteriorating health. Alia takes an important decision for the resort in his absence and ends up infuriating him. Amaira keeps scheming against Alia while Faraz does the same against her.
