Journalist Reet is a just person who loves her family deeply. A wealthy and hot-tempered Raghav loves his sister, Unnati, more than his life. However, both Reet and Raghav have painful pasts.

Unnati sneaks out of the house and attends the farewell party. Dhruv makes a mistake while drunk, and a video of him with Unnati goes viral. After seeing the video, an enraged Raghav thrashes Dhruv.

Reet questions Dhruv and Unnati about the video. When Unnati's alliance breaks, Dhruv decides to marry her to support her. Buaji tries to convince Raghav to accept Dhruv and Unnati's alliance.

Unnati asks Raghav to marry her to Dhruv. To secure Unnati's future, Raghav visits Reet's house with a shagun. He proposes marriage to Reet according to the aata-saata tradition, but she refuses.

Raghav visits Reet's office and gives her their wedding card. She then visits Raghav's house and confronts him. Raghav challenges Reet, who later messes up his favourite car.

Reet rejects Raghav's help and asks him to stay away. Later, she confronts those who have been disrespecting Unnati. Dhruv apologises to Unnati and leaves for Delhi, but she takes a fatal step.
