Jamai No. 1

Kanchan dreams of getting her daughter Riddhi married to a perfect boy, while Riddhi, a successful businesswoman, doesn't believe in marriage. For Neel, marriage is a bond that lasts seven lifetimes.

Neel arranges Shashank and Riya's wedding and returns Riddhi's car. Riddhi takes revenge on Neel by burning her car. Later, Kanchan ruins Neel's career while interviewing him at her company.

Ridhi ousts Neil from her office. Disheartened, Neel tells his mother about not getting the job. The workers on strike surround Ridhi to attack her, but Neil saves her.

Riddhi develops a misunderstanding and slaps Neel. After seeing Neel give a sharp response to Kanchan and Riddhi, Kanchan's mother is pleased. Later, Kanchan's mother offers Neel a job.

Riddhi decides to compensate the workers and later visits Tryambakeshwar for the puja with her family. Neel comes to help his father with the ceremony but gets into trouble.

Neel and his father Gangadhar apologise to Riddhi and Kanchan for the latter's injury. Parmeshwari talks to Gangadhar on the phone. During the puja, Neel accidentally touches Riddhi which angers her.
