Roshni and her grandmother go to the airport to pick up her mother, Durga Devi. Roshni is scuffed that her mother does not wish her, but instead scolds her for not dressing up well.

Roshni is at a party and does not answer Durga Devi's calls. When she returns home intoxicated, Durga Devi is angry and slaps her.

Hotelier Siddharth takes up the challenge of trying to mend the strained relationship between his independent-minded wife Roshni and his enterprising mother-in-law, Durga Devi.

Roshni is busy on her phone messaging someone and she suddenly slips and is about to fall down. Just then Siddharth comes to her rescue and catches her and her phone.

Gafoor tells Durga Devi that he will not be involved in any business with run by a woman. Sidharth and Roshni clash again due to some disagreement.

Durga Devi bullies an MCP diamond trader into giving her what she wants. Roshni confronts Siddharth at a construction site.
