A man curses Adhira when the people mistake him to be a thief and beat him. Thiru is happy to learn about Charumathi’s pregnancy. Mathi hurries Vennila to the hospital when a mishap befalls her.

Adhira requests Akhilan to revoke his curse. Adhira and Mathiazhagan are shattered when Vennila criticises Subhadra as she breathes her last. Adhira is shocked when the police arrest Mathiazhagan.

Sharda gets enraged when Adhira files a complaint against Akhilan. She then sees Vennila’s corpse. Adhira thanks Subhathra as she attends Vennila’s funeral. Later, Subhathra lies to Sharda.

Adhira argues with Subathra and holds her responsible for Vennila’s demise. She misunderstands Mathiazhagan on learning the truth and performs the final rites for Vennila. Charumathi lies to Aghalya.

The family is surprised to see Sharda pouring water over her head. Elsewhere, Adhira is upset as she thinks of Vennila. Adhira accuses Subhathra as Prakash defends Mathiazhagan in the court.

Mathiazhagan gets convicted as Adhira's testifies against him. He hands over Adhira's responsibility to Subhathra. Later, Subhathra looks for Adhira as she goes missing from the place.
