Maa Varu Mastaaru

As Vidya’s mother, Lakshmi, tragically dies in a whirlpool, she quits school and takes up the house responsibilities at a young age. Fourteen years later, Vidya initiates the education of a few kids.

Vidya goes to the temple and remembers her memories with Lakshmi. She witnesses the dispute between Veeresham and Ganapathi’s families. The next day, Parvathy stitches a name tag for Ganapathi.

Vidya gifts a ring to her friend at her baby shower. When the ladies insult Parvathy for coming to the function, Vidya stands in support of her. Ganapathi and Vidya cross paths and try to save a girl.

Vidya gives away her gold necklace so that Seetha can go to school instead of working. This agitates Padmasri but her father is unperturbed. Parvathy breaks down thinking about people’s words.

Ganapathi’s family visits the bride’s house, while Vidya’s family welcomes the prospective groom’s family. However, both the alliances get cancelled. Padmasri taunts Vidya for not knowing English.

Vidya tells Adinarayana that she wishes to marry a teacher. When Subbu talks rudely about his family, an angered Parvathy recalls the past when Veeresham framed Shankaram for stealing public money.
