Following a case involving a missing person, CCTV footage reveals a man who had previously visited the protagonist's home under the guise of being at the "wrong address". An investigation identifies this man as Vikram "Vicky", a figure from MG Road who has been "underground" since his own wife disappeared. It is revealed that Vicky is a predator who traps women.

Shweta returns to her husband, Sourav, but is overwhelmed by guilt and trauma, claiming she is no longer "worthy" of him. She confesses that her initial departure with Vicky was voluntary; she felt neglected by Sourav, who provided her with a flat and jewelry but never his time. Shortly after her return, Shweta begins to suffer from a mysterious and debilitating illness.

In a desperate attempt to "fix" everything, Sourav seeks out a substance called Aqua Regia and, more significantly, Potassium Cyanide. While Shweta believes her husband is trying to cure her, it is revealed that her paralysis was not a natural disease but a result of Sourav's systematic poisoning. In a final, chilling confrontation, Sourav identifies her "disease" as betrayal.
