Ganga is devastated when she learns about Maheshwar’s engagement. Security Babu, carelessly buries the amulet near Gouri’s grave. Maheshwar places a condition in front of Shreya.

Maheshwar announces that he will marry Shreya only if Malavika consents to it. Accordingly, Shreya tries to convince Malavika. Ganga sets out to Maheshwar’s house after writing a letter to Janaki.

The family conducts a ritual to oust Gouri’s spirit from the house when they begin to feel its presence. Hymavathi and Shreya provoke Devayani against Ganga as Ganga stops the ritual.

Ganga stops Maheshwar from hitting her. Gouri’s spirit fails to appear in front of Malavika. Ganga prays for Maheshwar to win the case.

Maheshwar scolds Rahul for questioning Devayani’s love for him. Ganga offers a payasam at the temple for Maheshwar’s victory in the case and tactfully makes Malavika give it to Maheshwar.

Gouri’s mother curses Maheshwar as he wins the case. Ganga writes a letter to Maheshwar. Later, a glass of milk accidentally falls from her hand onto him.
