The arrival of the Valley's newest councilwoman spells trouble for both Bottom Dollar and Minx; when her contributors begin to pull out, Joyce scrambles to come up with new articles that conform to her own high-brow standards.

After Bottom Dollar is audited, Tina and Doug scour the books and their employees' pockets for the missing money; as the Minx team prepares for the magazine's long-awaited debut, Joyce finds herself in a sticky situation with one of her coverboys.
