Pilu Does the `Dhunuchi’ Dance at Suromandol

Pilu refuses to take money from Aahir. Annapurna tells Uday to call Shibnath’s folk singers’ group to Suromandol. Pilu does the `dhunuchi’ dance there at Annapurna’s behest and Uday plays the drum.
Aahir Arrives at Sanaijhuri

Aditya speaks to Kalyani unknowingly. Pilu returns to Sanaijhuri and tells Kalyani that she visited Pundit Adityanarayan Mukherjee’s house. Aahir comes to Sanaijhuri at night to buy a Suromondol.
Pilu Wants to Go to Chandan Nagar

Pilu attacks a few drunk boys who follow her at night. Aahir beats up a boy who tries to hit Pilu from behind. Pilu wants to go with Aahir to Chandan Nagar to learn singing.
Annapurna Assumes Pilu Is Aahir’s Wife

Aahir goes to Chandan Nagar with Pilu. Under the influence of wine, Annapurna mistakes Pilu to be Aahir’s wife and puts a `dudh-alta’ deep dish at the door. Pilu steps on it and enters Suromandol.
Aditya Is Enchanted with Pilu’s Song

Pilu struggles to wash her feet in Suromondol’s bathroom. Aahir opposes Ranja when she asks Pilu to go back home. Aditya is enchanted by Pilu’s song and asks his favourite student Aahir to train her.
Aahir Punishes

Aditya supports his mother when Rijula opposes Annapurna. Meanwhile, Aahir punishes Pilu when she comes late for her lesson on the first day. Aditya asks Aahir to ensure that Pilu eats well.
