New York City nightclub owner, James 'Ghost' St Patrick, encounters a former flame and faces a threat from his secret dealings in the drug world, as he struggles to balance his double-life.

After the anonymous attack on Ghost and Tommy's drug business, they try to find out who the unknown enemy is. Tasha, Ghost's wife and mother of his children, struggles with her role as a nightclub owner's wife.

The rift between Ghost and Tasha deepens as uncertainty surrounds the future of the nightclub. Ghost gets reminded that pursuing Angela and a legitimate life would place his family in danger.

Ghost and Tommy call a meeting of their gang leaders while Angela organises surveillance of the event. The unknown assailant strikes again, and Ghost reveals his family life to Angela.

Tasha interferes with business at the club after she becomes concerned by Ghost's attitude. Elsewhere, Ghost continues his fling with Angela, and Tommy sets his sights on a club employee.

Tommy and Ruiz settle their differences, and Angela works with one of Ruiz's gang members. Elsewhere, Ghost forgets Tasha's birthday and decides to face the truth about his affair.
