Janaki gets emotional thinking of Sandhya. Janaki's father condemns Sandhya for marrying Kishore, Janaki's fiancé. Raghuram’s mother puts forth a condition when Janaki's father makes a request.

Unaware that Raghuram has answered the call, Sandhya pours her heart out to Janaki. The goons beat the temple priest for honouring Raghuram. Sandhya lies to Maya, who questions her about her grief.

Raghuram refuses to forgive Sandhya. Tears well up in Dhanalakshmi’s eyes when Prabhu teases her for her hairstyle. Janaki pleads with Raghuram to let her meet Sandhya, but he turns down her request.

Ramaniamma informs Raghuram when she fails to find Janaki at home. Elsewhere, Janaki performs a ritual at the temple for Sandhya. A hermit pacifies Janaki when she is unable to complete the ritual.
