Kansa declares himself as the most powerful god of Mathura. Later, Kansa's army chase Vasudev and captures him. Devaki's father, Maharaj Ugrasen, does Devaki's 'kanyadaan'.

Kansa tries to kill Devaki, but Vasudev protects her. When Devaki speaks about giving away her eighth child to Kansa, he spares them. Later, Kansa imprisons Vasudev and Devaki.

Kansa kills Devaki and Vasudev's six children. Rohini keeps Devaki's seventh child in her womb and later gives birth to Sesh Naag in a human form. Later, the eighth child is born.

Heeding a divine voice, Vasudev leaves for Gokul with his eighth-born baby. He reaches Mathura with Nanda's daughter Yogamaya. Assuming her to be Devaki's eighth-born baby, Kansa goes to kill her.

When Kansa tries to kill Jogomaya, Vidhyovasini shows its true form. Kansa orders his men to kill all the newborns in the Brajabhumi area. Later, Brishbhanu and Kirti are blessed with a girl child.

When Kansa's men set out to kill newborns around Brajabhumi, Krishna makes a storm arise. Brishabhanu and Kirti go to Nandaraj's house. Later, Brishabhanu looks at Krishna when he touches her.
