Subhadram

Ishwariyamma tells Sarojam about Vasudevan and his daughter, Subhadra from Triprangod. The advocate tells a man about Meghanathan from Kottakkal. Subhadra gets ready for her wedding with Meghanathan.

Meghanathan and Subhadra get married. Meghanathan and his mother, Bhavani, discuss how to take revenge on Vasudevan. Subhadra forbids Vasudevan from going to the temple when the lamp blows out.

Meghanathan and his henchmen deceitfully kill Vasudevan. He performs Vasudevan’s final rites. Bhavani, who takes pride in having killed Vasudevan, sits on the latter’s throne.

Subhadra warns Bhavani and asks her not to sit on her father’s throne. Meghanathan feels insulted when the priest asks him to stand back and let Subhadra perform the rituals.

Meghanathan is angered by Subhadra’s decision to name his child after their family. He shares his plan with Bhavani on influencing the sisters. Radha buys Krishna and Radha dolls.

The priest tells everyone that Radha must handle Devi’s sword instead of Meghanathan. Later, Meghanathan threatens Ishwariyamma when he realises that the latter knows his truth.
