While Bill Carlton is still the reigning champion in Texas' custom truck world, some up-and-coming shops on the Northside of Houston are trying to make their name with a new generation of jaw-dropping monster machines. While some of their masterpieces do hit the car show circuit, for the most part, it's all about performance on the track, in the mud, or up a mountain.
