After being selected for the jury, a juror is caught in a web of lies with her husband. The accused, Kate Lawson, is painted as a fiend by the Prosecution and a loving aunt by her Defence... but what will the jury believe?

Claire's father, Nathan Spears, takes the stand. He paints Kate as a sexual predator who groomed Claire, but reveals his temper when Colby gets under his skin. The jurors are conflicted - is this man capable of murder?

The jurors are taken to Kate's house to observe a demonstration of the Crown's case theory, before Kate's brother, Robbie, takes the stand. The jurors debate the logistics of the trial- could Kate really have disposed of Claire's body by herself?
