TRIGUN STAMPEDE

Veteran reporter Roberto and rookie Meryl find themselves helping Vash the Stampede, an infamous thief with a bounty of six million double-dollars on his head, on his quest for revenge.

The townsfolk of Jeneora Rock decide to capture Vash for his bounty.

A bomber attacks the town of Jeneorarock while they are celebrating the restoration of their Plant; Vash tries to disarm the bombs, but his twin brother, Knives, shows up to steal the Plant; Vash confronts Knives, but is overwhelmed by his strength.

Vash, Meryl and Roberto head for Jurai in pursuit of Knives. During their trek through the desert, they're joined by Nicholas, but quickly find themselves locked in combat with a colossal worm.

When Vash stops at a windmill town in the red desert area, he's attacked by Monev, the shadow that remains of Rollo; Vash was unable to save Rollo from Conrad's experiments when he was a child, so Rollo has hatred for both Vash and Conrad.

Vash and Nicholas part ways with two reporters and board a Sandsteamer bound for Jurai; awaiting them there is an assassin named Livio, who grew up in the same orphanage as Nicholas and admired him as an older brother figure.
