To support her family, Aarshi works at a Xerox shop to earn some extra money and sings on the train. Shakyajit from Kolkata is a superstar. Aarshi’s house is chosen as the venue for his shooting.

As a superstar, Shakyajit heeds his mother Surobhi's advice and declines the tea his father makes. While Aarshi's family is busy managing the ongoing shoot at their home, Shakyajit's acting wows her.

When the director orders to break the Tanpura, Aarshi protests and ignores Shakyajit's request. Madhubani and the crew insult Subroto. Aarshi halts the shoot. Shakyajit's fans then attack Subroto.

Aarshi, feeling low, visits Baul Kaka's hermitage. Elsewhere, Shakyajit's grandmother weeps, recalling his uncle, Khokon, aka Baul Kaka. Later, Aarshi reaches Shakyajit's house in Kolkata with Papai.

Shakyajit learns of Aarshi’s arrival but refuses to apologise to her father. The police arrive and drive away Aarshi and Papai from Shakyajit’s house. Shantonu updates Aarshi of a new job in Kolkata.

Shakyajit's father hires Aarshi at his Xerox shop. She is shocked to see news of a wheel theft in the media. Despite realising everything, Shakyajit's father remains silent at home.
