A new daring script becomes a beacon of hope for the washed-up actor, Sooraj. He gets drawn into the story of Arun, a brave undercover cop who kills the gangster, Guna.

Guna’s public execution shocks Chennai. His wife, Yashoda, vows revenge when the police call the encounter an act of self-defence. Meanwhile, Arun tries to keep his identity hidden.

Arun continues his operation in Sivagangai. While working at the hotel, he comes across his new target, Aadhi, a feared gangster. Meanwhile, Yashodha intensifies her search for her husband’s killer.

Arun is shocked when he learns that Aadhi is married to his former love, Shanthi. Aadhi suspects Arun’s motives and subtly warns him to leave the town. Later, Arun takes a bold step.

Arun, hiding in Aadhi’s house with a loaded gun, silently kills him during the fireworks at the village festival. During Aadhi’s funeral, he stands beside a devastated Shanthi and her children.

Aadhi’s death takes a toll on Arun, even though he is celebrated as a hero in the town. Returning home to Chennai, he begins to question the system. Later, he makes a difficult choice.
