Sushmita’s mother, Mandakini, is happy as Sushmita is chosen as heroine in audition. Sushmita insults Swanandi over her marriage. At a family event, Anshuman sits in place of Samar, upsetting Aaji.

Samar’s aunt Mallika pointedly recalls the mishap from his 18th birthday and apologises. Swanandi's brother Rohan talks to her about his girlfriend Adhira and persuades Swanandi to meet a suitor.

Samar and Swanandi arrive at the same restaurant to meet their arranged match. Samar lies to Priya and sends her away. Swanandi feels hurt by Nishant’s words and starts crying.
