The headmaster, teachers, parents' and students' representatives are meeting in council to decide whether or not to proceed with disciplinary action against Marco Andreoli, a young Italian teacher who left his class in a scientific high school in Rome shortly before the school-leaving examination. But it was his former students who burst into the assembly to defend Professor Andreoli's reputation and demand that he be reinstated. The students claim that their class is like a ghetto where the "school as a business" has relegated the "different", considering them doomed. Some flashing lights sequences or patterns may affect photosensitive viewers.
