Rory's plans are thrown into disarray when she is offered her dream job, leaving Lorelei to contemplate life after her little girl moves out.

On the eve of Rory's graduation, Emily and Richard throw her a party and perform a song in her honour. At the party, Lorelai and Christopher are reunited for the first time and are relieved they can be friends. Logan also has a shock for her.

Hal and the boys get competitive when the local church starts to undercut them on Christmas tree prices.

With Rory fretting over her future after graduation, Lorelai decides to cheer her up with a day of pampering, shopping and eating. Lorelai invites Luke to join her and Rory at a karaoke night.

As Stars Hollow prepares for its annual Spring Fling festival, Rory brings Logan home and shows him around town. Lorelai sees how serious their relationship has become and worries that Logan is too irresponsible for Rory.

After the disastrous scene at her parents' marriage recommitment ceremony, Lorelai begs Luke not to give up on their relationship.
