Steve breaks things off with Izzy, admitting the promise he made to her mum. Furious, Izzy packs up and leaves. Things go from bad to worse for Steve when his client calls, accusing him of leaking a story about her to the tabloids. He knows Alice is to blame. With nothing left to lose, Steve decides to take revenge. Online warfare erupts between Alice and Steve. But Alice crashes harder: Steve leaks an eyebrow-raising video of her to her boss, and she’s fired. Things go from bad to worse when, in a bid to win Daniel back, Alice surprises him at home – only to find his colleague Marni there with him. Meanwhile, at the doctor’s, Izzy receives some surprising news of her own.

Steve and Izzy invite Alice and Daniel out for dinner. It’s tense to start with, but Izzy insists that everyone needs to move on – because she and Steve are going to have a baby. Alice is devastated, but an elated Izzy is oblivious. But bliss turns to shock when Steve and Izzy head to their scan. The dates don’t add up. Izzy’s ex Janis must be the father. Izzy goes to tell Janis the news. Steve watches from the car, terrified that the two will get back together. When Izzy gets back in the car, a desperate Steve asks her to marry him. Izzy says yes.

The wedding has finally arrived. Alice couldn’t be dreading it more. At the clay pigeon range, Alice creeps up behind Steve with a gun and takes aim. But when Steve tells Izzy what happened, she can hardly believe it — her mum tried to kill Steve? At the rehearsal dinner, things get worse when Izzy’s ex Janis turns up halfway through. Later that evening, Janis confesses his love to Izzy. She denies having feelings for him but the two start kissing. Things take an unexpected turn when a misplaced candle sets fire to the castle. Everyone spills out onto the lawn, but Alice realises someone is missing — Steve! Will she save him, or let him burn?
