Genius surgeon Yihan performs a heart transplant for Seokju, before he gets a secretive call.

Seokju dies from the surgery that was supposed to be successful. Yihan struggles to find the truth about his death, but he goes on trial as the accused.

Five years later, Yihan returns as a lawyer and takes the case of Kitae, his former colleague. Meanwhile, Jayden from the US attends the robot surgery demonstration at Banseok University Medical Center.

Kitae, a healthy young man, dies suddenly and Yihan suspects on a hunch it is connected to Banseok University Medical Center. Seokyeong is shocked to see Yihan a lawyer.

A new client comes to New-Hope Law Office. Soyeon, an aspiring idol trainee, claims that she lost her voice due to ghost surgery at Banseok University Medical Center.

Yosub shows up as a witness of Soyeon's case. He apologizes to Soyeon and testifies in court. Meanwhile, Yuna, Taemoon's daughter, takes office as the director of Banseok R and D Center. Hyunseong cannot stop doubting Yuna and Jayden.
